metFlow® - Screwing without Drilling
Nedschroef makes it possible to connect sheet metal without pre-drilling using flow-drilling metFlow® screws and precision robots, without compromising on strength. This unique process can be applied to high strength sheet materials that are difficult to connect in multiple layers.
Various materials can be connected, such as steel and aluminum. Connections with CFRP are also possible. The connection with its metric thread is tight and durable and can withstand great stress, although it can be disassembled if necessary. Components do not require a pre-drilled hole or tapped mating thread, and tolerances can be easily compensated – which saves cost.
This approach is also suitable for pre-assembly of components. metFlow® has been created to meet real-life demands and bring benefits to a variety of markets.
